Who manages the apartments?

My name is Álvaro. I am in the middle of the photo. I handle apartment bookings. I love everything to do with marketing, especially online marketing. My mother, Margarita Burguera, is on the left of the photo. She handles the day-to-day management of the apartments and is available for anything you may need at any time. My grandmother, Apolonia Clar, is on the right of the photo (she is blowing out the candles because it is her birthday ). My mother and grandmother both live in the same apartment block. They will deal with everything you need during your stay. I live in Palma de Majorca and spend many weekends at Colonia Sant Jordi.

Holiday Apartments Majorca

Apartamentos ESTANQUES in Majorca are completely refurbished. They are 2-room apartments with two single beds in each room (which can be put together) and a sofa bed in the living room. Each apartment sleeps up to 5 people. The apartments are approx. 70 m2 in size. There is a bathtub in the bathroom. All utensils you need for cooking and eating are in the kitchen. There is a television with international channels. There is a safe (additional charge of €10/week). A cot and high-chair are also available at no extra cost.

Cleaning is included in the price and is carried out twice a week. Towels and bedclothes are available. Towels are changed twice a week and bedclothes are changed once a week. (All of these services, as well as water and electricity, are included in the price).

The apartments are in the centre of Colonia de Sant Jordi in Majorca. There is a supermarket 50 metres away in the same street. It is the closest spot to the best beaches in the south of Majorca (many people would say that the best beaches on the whole island are near Colonia Sant Jordi: “Es Trenc” beach is about a 10-minute car drive away and a 20-minute walk from the apartments, “Es Dolç” beach is a 12-minute walk away and “Es Carbó” beach is a 30-minute walk away).

There are ten apartments in total, spread among 3 floors (ground floor, first floor and second floor). The apartments have a large garden next to the entrance. The owners live in the same apartment block and will give you the keys when you arrive. They are available to help you at any time of day. The apartments’ classification is 2 llaves. All of our apartments have views of the garden and a balcony at the back. The apartments are very bright and sunny.

The apartments do not have air conditioning (although they are very well-ventilated) or heating. In winter months heaters can be rented for €4/day (1500 W heater) or €8/day (2500 W heater). There is a car park on the same street as the apartments, Calle Estanys, which costs €5 a day. If you would prefer to park your car for free, you can do so on the streets near the apartments. There are no blue markings so you do not have to pay. The apartments do not have their own internet connection, but you can try to connect using the connection in the apartment downstairs where the owners live. Our guests have been able to connect to the internet through this connection without any trouble on more than one occasion.

Check-in: from 1-1.30 PM and Check-out: by 12.00 midday. There is no fixed day of arrival and the minimum stay is two nights.

Directions to our apartments: when you leave Palma de Majorca airport take the motorway towards SANTANYÍ. When the motorway ends, follow the road to the village of CAMPOS. When you reach CAMPOS, follow all the signposts to COLONIA DE SANT JORDI. After about 12 km, you will reach COLONIA DE SANT JORDI. Bear in mind that when you enter COLONIA DE SANT JORDI you have to turn right when you reach a roundabout with a traditional Majorcan boat (llaut) in the middle. Once you enter COLONIA DE SANT JORDI, the first thing you will see is a petrol station. Keep going straight on and you will see the LA CAIXA bank to your left. The apartments are in the street to the left of the bank, Calle Estanys no. 33. You cannot turn left there as turning is prohibited. You have to carry on for two streets until you can do so.
